Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur will lay the foundation stone of synthetic astroturf hockey sports ground to be made with an outlay of Rs. 2 crore 18 lakh and 56 thousand under Khelo India Scheme at Government Senior Secondary School, Majra in district Sirmaur on 8th May, 2022. This hockey ground would provide modern technique facility to hockey players alongwith state-of-art astroturf sports ground. This ground would also be used for national level competitions.
