Students of St. Thomas’ School, Shimla exhibited great talent as they displayed various artefacts made out of waste material during the annual exhibition held here today in the School Hall. This year the theme for the exhibition was “Creativity Out Of Waste” to which students did complete justice.

They used raw material like plastic bottles, broken bangles, old CDs, cotton, newspaper and many other things to name, to present a completely fascinating show. Artefacts made out of wool such as birds, vegetables and bags among other things were the centre main attraction.

Principal of Shimla Public School was the Chief Guest on the occasion who appreciated the creative talent of the students. Items prepared during the skill development program “Hunar” were also exhibited during the show with the aim to encourage women and further help them realize their potential to become financially independent.

The day ended on a happy note as everyone was pleased and satisfied with the display.
