The Ministry of Ayush captivated audiences at the 77th Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, with a visually striking tableau highlighting the integration of India’s traditional healthcare systems with modern technology. Conceptualized under the National Ayush Mission (NAM), the tableau carried the theme “Ayush ka Tantra, Swasthya ka Mantra,” reflecting the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and people-centric wellness development.

The display illustrated India’s civilisational approach to health, emphasizing the continued relevance of Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, and Homoeopathy in preventive, promotive, and community-based healthcare.

The front section symbolically represented India’s traditional health knowledge in harmony with nature, using sculptural elements and medicinal plant motifs to highlight sustainability and holistic living. Moving along, the tableau showcased Ayush integration into national healthcare via NAM, including initiatives such as Ayushman Arogya Mandir, institutional capacity-building, education, and research, demonstrating accessibility and standardization across the country.

A focus on digital healthcare highlighted technology-driven initiatives supporting maternal and child care, elderly wellness, and early introduction of Ayush concepts in schools, reflecting a life-cycle approach to health. An artistic segment on **Arishadvarga—the six inner challenges—**symbolized mental balance, emotional well-being, and the preventive role of self-care in modern lifestyles.

Community participation was represented through visuals of Yoga, meditative practices, and commonly used Ayush medicines, emphasizing inclusive, daily-life healthcare. The tableau also featured three-dimensional depictions of therapies such as Marma, Shirodhara, and Cupping, honoring pioneers of Ayush systems who contributed to the global spread of traditional medicine.

Interactive mascots showcased digital platforms like Y-Break Pro, WHO mYoga, Namaste Yoga, and Prakriti Parikshan, illustrating how technology expands outreach, encourages citizen engagement, and promotes preventive practices.

The tableau concluded with a depiction of an Ayurveda College, symbolizing education, institutional continuity, and excellence, reinforcing Ayush as a dynamic pillar of India’s public health system and a leader in global wellness.
