Baby’s Day Out at Regal Public School

RegalAnnFnt.17.9 (31)Regal Public School, Shimla celebrated the first leg of its Annual Day at Kalibari Hall today. The programme commenced with diya prajwallan by the Principal, Manmohan Khanna. The school stands by the ethical values of integrity, respect for elders, discipline and clarity of thought that are imparted through various curricular and co-curricular activities. They take pride in providing a conducive environment to the students so that they may grow with self confidence and belief in themselves. The school also imparts and stands for Indian values and traditions and all of this was showcased in the programme presented today.

RegalAnnFnt.17.9 (24)The programme started with Vandana and the tiny tots dressed in white and red were truly a sight to behold. It was well performed by Aaditri, Kritima, Aavriti, Purva, Shanaya, Kanav, Vatsal and Mauli.

The fervour of “deshbhakti” was also at an all time high with the joshila dance number ‘Hum India Wale’ presented by Ira, Rudrani, Shivansh, Ojasvini, Shivraj, Arnav, Navya, Neerav, Azalea and Ridhaan.

The fun and frolic of childhood was well captured in the enigmatic ‘Bum Bum Bole’ dance performed by Atharv, Bhavya, Anvi, Sanam, Arnav, Rudransh, Manini, Vinayak, Divyansh, Saish, Kanwarvir.

RegalAnnFnt.17.9 (17)Finally, the absolute magical ‘Naati’ was beautifully performed by the little ones and their moves were commendable. So were their costumes and the choice of music. A lilting presentation was given by Aanya, Dhruv, Avyukti, Adamya, Pranav, Sunakshi, Adway and Jarul.

Some students were even presented with certificates of merit, medals and awards for the various events organised by the school during the course of the year. The prizes were given by the Principal for fancy dress, frog race, art and craft and other extra-curricular activities. Some of the prize winners were Aradhna, Natalie, Ishpreet, Akaal, Aarohi, Harshit, Naynee, Ansh, Aradhya, Vihaan, Parth, Akshita, Arya, Krishav, Jasraj, Yadvi, Shanaya, Arshi and Aalya.

The overall star performers during the year were Aishvi Sharma, Yadavi Chauhan, Aradhya Thakur, Shanaya Kanwar, Aarohi Sharma, Navnee Jagotra and Ishpreet Singh.
