Himachal Pradesh BJP president Rajeev Bindal on Monday hailed the party’s strong performance in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry, describing it as a clear endorsement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and a rejection of Congress politics.

Speaking at a celebration event in Solan, Bindal said the results signal a shifting political mood across the country. He termed the outcome in West Bengal as a decisive moment, claiming it reflected people’s desire for change after decades of what he called ineffective governance.

He alleged that issues like corruption, violence and infiltration had troubled West Bengal for years, and voters had now chosen a new direction. “The mandate shows people are looking for stability and progress,” he said.

Highlighting the Centre’s achievements, Bindal credited Prime Minister Modi’s leadership for major milestones over the past decade, including economic growth, poverty reduction, and infrastructure expansion. He said these developments have strengthened both India’s global image and internal security, deepening public confidence in the government.

Referring to Assam and Puducherry, Bindal said the BJP’s continued success in these regions reflects the party’s growing acceptance and credibility across the country.

He also launched a sharp attack on the Congress, alleging that the party has steadily lost public support due to divisive politics and unfulfilled promises. He claimed the recent results are a clear message from voters rejecting its approach.

Turning to Himachal Pradesh, Bindal accused the state government of failing to deliver on key assurances. He said promises related to employment and financial support for women remain unfulfilled even after several months in power. He further alleged that illegal activities and various mafias were thriving in the state, adding that public dissatisfaction was steadily rising. Bindal concluded by asserting that the political developments indicate a growing demand for change and accountability among the people.
