Blood Donation Camp held at Loreto School, Shimla

A blood donation camp was organized in Loreto Convent Tara Hall, Shimla by the JPIC wing of the school on 26th June, 2022. The camp was organized in collaboration with an NGO and supported by the IGMC, Shimla, medical team. The blood collected through the camp was sent to the largest hospital in Himachal Pradesh. The donors were asked to get themselves approved as fit and healthy to donate blood from the doctors who were present at the camp itself. Following blood donation, the donors were provided with refreshments to feel strengthened and energetic.

Parents as well as teachers participated in the drive and the school managed was able to collect 35 units of blood. The JPIC team is hopeful that the participants will be able to save many lives and help society in their own way.
