CM Sukhu on Saturday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 26 development projects worth Rs. 333.25 crore in the Chamba Assembly constituency.
Among the major inaugurations, the Chief Minister dedicated the newly constructed 200-bedded hospital building of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Government Medical College and Hospital, Chamba, built at a cost of Rs. 158 crore. He also inaugurated the Rs. 14.11 crore upgraded Shahpur–Sihunta–Chowari–Chamba road, the Rs. 13.65 crore Parel–Kohlari road, the Rs. 11.53 crore Chamba–Banikhet road via Parel, the Rs. 6.85 crore Luddu–Gharmani road, the Rs. 5.78 crore Sahran–Ran road, the Rs. 5.68 crore Bhanera–Devidehra–Rathiar–Mankot road, and the Rs. 4.61 crore box girder bridge over the Ravi River on the Karian–Bharian–Kothi road.
The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stones for several new infrastructure projects, including the Rs. 25 crore Phase-I vehicle parking facility at Bhagat in Chamba. Other projects include the Rs. 12.59 crore link road to Drabla village, Rs. 5.29 crore link road to Sanotha, Rs. 6.47 crore Sach–Fatehpur road, Rs. 2.05 crore link road to Nanu village, Rs. 4.24 crore Drada–Seru link road, Rs. 10.24 crore link road to Ghargram village, Rs. 6.05 crore link road to Ghatrer village, Rs. 2.83 crore link road to Chhanjun village, Rs. 2.63 crore link road to Rundega village, Rs. 4.25 crore link road to Basudan village, Rs. 4.09 crore Mangla–Ohli–Bharia–Kapara–Jareen road, Rs. 6.53 crore link road to Mankot village, Rs. 5.96 crore Chamba–Maloona–Kathana road, Rs. 6.58 crore Rajera–Baili road, Rs. 4.49 crore Kariyan–Baili road, and the Rs. 3.72 crore District Drug Warehouse-cum-Vaccination Store at Leprosy Hospital, Sarol.
