Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur Released ‘Mohra’ written by Dr. Dev Kanya Thakur

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur released book ‘Mohra’ written by noted writer, storyteller and film maker Dr. Dev Kanya Thakur here today. The book is a beautiful collection of ten stories unfolding the prevailing traditions in Himachal Pradesh and thus revealing a different world within them.

While appreciating the efforts of the writer, Chief Minister said that the writer has succeeded in engraving the struggles and moods of the hill women through her stories. He said that all the stories are well-crafted and simple in language, style and tone. In these stories, the author has given a new height to reality and artistic experimentation and traditions and customs prevailing in the hills, he said.

Chairman BDC Sangrah Mela Ram Sharma was also present on the occasion among others.
