The NCC Annual Training Camp at UHF Nauni concluded with a grand closing ceremony, marked by the presence of distinguished guests, vibrant cultural events, and a celebratory feast. The ceremony was honored by Col. Dr. Dhaniram Shandil, the Honorable Health and Labour Empowerment Minister, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Rajeshwar Singh Chandel, the Vice-Chancellor of UHF University, Nauni, as the Guest of Honor.
The event commenced with a symbolic tree plantation ceremony, reinforcing the commitment to environmental conservation. Col. Dr. Dhaniram Shandil, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh Chandel, Col.Sanjay Shandil and Poonam Shandil planted saplings, setting an inspiring example for the cadets and attendees. This act of planting trees highlighted the importance of ecological responsibility and sustainability.
Following the tree plantation, the formal ceremony began with a warm welcome from the Camp commandant Col Sanjay Shandil. He extended his gratitude to the esteemed guests, cadets, faculty members, and all attendees for their participation and support. She also thanked the administration, faculty, staff and cadets for their dedication and efforts in making the camp a success.
The closing ceremony was followed by a delicious Kangri Dham, a traditional Himachali feast. The sumptuous meal provided an opportunity for the guests, cadets, and faculty to bond and celebrate the successful conclusion of the camp.
