CM bids warm farewell to Governor

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu along-with Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and his cabinet colleagues, Leader of opposition Jai Ram Thakur, public representatives, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu, Goc-in-C ARTRAC Lt. General S.S. Mehal, Vice Chancellors  and other senior officers of State Government and prominent persons from all walks of life gave warm send off to Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at Raj Bhawan on Thursday.

Earlier, Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Youth Affairs and Sports and various dignitaries called on the Governor and conveyed their best wishes for his future pursuit.

Later, while interacting with the media, the Governor said that he was taking the wealth of love from Himachal Pradesh. “Here I got a lot of cooperation and respect, for which he will always be indebted to the people of Himachal”, said Arlekar.
