CM Launches Key Projects Worth ₹119 Cr in Bangana

Sukhu participated as the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of the three-day Piplu Fair in Bangana, underscoring the cultural importance of traditional fairs as vital links to local heritage and community spirit. He joined the traditional Shobha Yatra and engaged with the public at the local rest house, listening to their concerns firsthand.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth ₹119.51 crore in the Bangana sub-division. Major projects include:

  • ₹2.12 crore Executive Engineer Divisional Office, Thanakalan

  • ₹2.44 crore GSSS building, Jathehri

  • ₹1.45 crore PHC building, Chamyari

  • ₹10.31 crore road upgrade (Olinda–Bohru)

  • ₹12.22 crore for road projects via Kamoon Patti and Lubowal

  • ₹10.73 crore Rural Livelihood Centre, Bangana

  • ₹10.59 crore lift irrigation scheme for Boul and Moh Khas

  • ₹7.20 crore for rainwater harvesting structures in four locations

  • ₹33.59 crore road from Bhiyambi to Barsar

CM Sukhu reiterated the state government’s commitment to sustainable agriculture, encouraging local farmers to adopt natural farming practices for better economic and ecological outcomes. He praised local MLA Vivek Sharma for his development-oriented work in the region.

Also present were Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri, MLA Vivek Sharma, Advocate General Anup Kumar Rattan, SC Commission Member Dr. Vijay Dogra, and other key party and district officials.
