CM Sukhu, during his visit to Kangra district on Monday, inaugurated and laid foundation stones for eight key development projects valued at Rs. 36 crore in the Nagrota Bagwan assembly constituency.
Among the inaugurations was a Rs. 3.10 crore Fire Post building at Nagrota Bagwan, a Rs. 4.80 crore road connecting Malan to Gujrehra Pathiar and Sakrehar, and Rs. 4.84 crore spent on metalling and tarring the Kharat Jandrah Aerla Ropa Kardiana road. Additionally, a bridge over Dharoon Khad linking Kaled with Kari Da Bag village was completed with an outlay of Rs. 3.47 crore.
The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stones for a Rs. 9.56 crore road from Rangehar Sadoon Malmu to Nera, including a bridge over Nera Khad, along with Rs. 10 crore worth of various electrical infrastructure development projects in the Nagrota Bagwan area.
On arrival, CM Sukhu was warmly welcomed by the local populace. The event was also attended by Ayush Minister Yadvinder Goma, HP Tourism Development Corporation Chairman R.S. Bali, MLAs Sanjay Awasthi and Kamlesh Thakur, and HRTC Vice Chairman Ajay Verma.
