A delegation from the Pangi region, led by Lalit Thakur, Chairman of APMC Chamba, met CM Sukhu today to present various demands concerning the region.

The Chief Minister praised the people of Pangi and local Self Help Groups for their remarkable work in natural farming. He highlighted the state government’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainable agricultural practices across Himachal Pradesh and acknowledged the region’s farmers and horticulturists for their exemplary contributions.

To support these efforts, CM Sukhu announced a support price for naturally grown barley in Pangi, aimed at encouraging farmers to adopt natural farming, boosting their incomes, and giving a unique identity to their produce.

The Chief Minister assured the delegation that all genuine demands from the Pangi region would be considered sympathetically.
