CM Releases Song on Drug Awareness

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu released a song on awareness on synthetic drugs titled ‘Nashe Se Tum Door Raho’ produced by Shimla-based social activist Taruna Mishra.

The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of Taruna Mishra and said that the State Government has taken many initiatives to bring awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse. He urged the youth to keep away from drugs to make a constructive and healthy society.

He said that social activists and NGOs can supplement the efforts of the State Government to awaken the society.  He said that every section of society should come forward in combating this menace.

Social activist Taruna Mishra assured that she would continue creating awareness about drug abuse and its fatal effects.
