CS reviews poll preparedness in Dodra Kwar

The Chief Secretary, Prabodh Saxena during his one day visit to Dodra Kwar, the remotest hard area of district Shimla in Rohru sub-division reviewed poll preparedness and SVEEP activities and motivated the people to come out to vote on 1st June, 2024 in lieu of Lok Sabha elections.

Saxena is the first Chief Secretary to tour Dodra Kwar during Lok Sabha elections and to inspect the poll preparedness. He appealed to the people to come out and vote, making a history by contributing 100 percent polling with the motto ‘Vote Karega Dodra Kwar’.

He interacted with Mahila and Yuvak Mandals besides others and motivated them to participate voluntarily by exercising their right to franchise. He also held meetings with the officers and officials at SDM office Dodra Kwar and listened to their grievances. Saxena assured to solve their grievances on priority.

He made necessary inspections pertaining to polling booths and the facilities being provided therein to the polling parties. SDM Dodra Kwar, Dharmesh Ramotra also accompanied the Chief Secretary. Earlier he was accorded a warm welcome on reaching Dodra Kwar.
