Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and Director Information and Public Relations, Rajiv Kumar and the staff of IPR have expressed their heartfelt condolences on the demise of senior journalist Vipin Kala (57) who passed away on Saturday.
In his condolence message, Governor Shukla praised Kala as a dedicated journalist whose contributions to Amar Ujala Newspaper would be remembered for years to come.
Chief Minister Sukhu commended Kala for his active role in bringing developmental and social issues to light through his news stories and often drawing government’s attention to critical matters. He prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
Deputy Chief Minister also acknowledged Kala’s valuable services, noting his significant impact in the field of journalism. He said that Kala was a senior journalist who was very hard working and laborious. He has left a vacuum in the field of journalism, difficult to be filled.
Rajiv Kumar stated that Vipin Kala was a distinguished journalist whose unwavering dedication and commitment towards his duties would be fondly remembered. His invaluable contributions to various vernaculars have left a lasting impact in the field of Journalism.
The Director and the staff of IPR prayed for the peace of departed soul and for the strength to the bereaved family members to endure this profound loss.
