Director Of School Education Releases Meri Laghu Kahaniyan

Director of School Education, Himachal Pradesh, Ashish Kohli, on Monday released Meri Laghu Kahaniyan, a collection of short stories authored by Neelam Kumari, at a function held at the Directorate of School Education in Shimla.

Congratulating the author, the Director said literature mirrors society and that short stories serve as an effective medium to portray human emotions, life experiences and social values with simplicity and impact. He expressed confidence that the book would encourage readers to reflect on different facets of life while making a meaningful contribution to contemporary Hindi literature.

Speaking on the occasion, Neelam Kumari said the book draws inspiration from everyday experiences and presents human relationships and social values in a simple and engaging manner.

Expressing gratitude to the Director for releasing the book, the author thanked everyone present for their support. Officers and officials of the Directorate also attended the ceremony.

The Director extended his best wishes to the author for her future literary pursuits and encouraged her to continue contributing to Hindi literature through her writings.
