Governor Kavinder Gupta paid obeisance at the Venkateswara Swamy (Tirupati Balaji) Temple in Jammu on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan and Shravan Purnima. During his visit, he participated in a special Abhishek ceremony and offered prayers for national peace, prosperity, and collective well-being.
Highlighting the rich spiritual heritage shared by the Jammu region and Himachal Pradesh, the Governor emphasized the vast potential for creating an integrated spiritual tourism circuit connecting sacred shrines across both areas. He noted that enhanced infrastructure, improved connectivity, and coordinated promotional efforts would significantly enrich the pilgrimage experience for devotees while celebrating their common cultural roots.
