The evening commenced with a moving rendition of the hymn “Ten Thousand Reasons”, setting a serene tone that soon gave way to a dynamic series of performances. The English play “A Light For Palace Fire” and Hindi drama “Anokha Illaj” delivered powerful social messages, leaving the audience both entertained and inspired.
Adding rhythm to reflection, students performed spirited folk dances from Punjab, Kumaun, and Rajasthan, as well as elegant classical pieces — all of which celebrated the diverse cultural heritage of India. The school choir, along with piano solos and instrumental ensembles, provided melodic interludes, highlighting Auckland’s dedication to the performing arts.

Principal Smaraki Samantaroy presented the Annual Report, emphasizing the school’s continued pursuit of academic excellence, co-curricular enrichment, and holistic student development.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mokta praised the event as “a mirror of the school’s vibrant spirit,” commending students for their expressive performances and lauding the school’s efforts in nurturing confident, compassionate individuals. “When the leaders are young,” she said, “nothing can stop an institution from achieving new heights.”

As the curtain fell with a vote of thanks and enthusiastic applause, Middle Section Speech Day 2025 stood out not just as an annual event — but as a celebration of identity, learning, and limitless potential.
