Swaran Public School Tutikandi celebrated the birth anniversary of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru aka Children’s Day. It is the most awaited event by children and celebrations are looked forward to by them. A number of events were organised by the school as well.

Children decorated the notice board with pictures of Chacha Nehru. Teachers and students had been presenting enlightening ideas about the political and personal life of the late Prime Minister for over a week in the morning assembly.

Principal Seema Mehta said that children looked like blossoms in their colourful clothes. She further informed that students were treated to lunch on the occasion, which was specially prepared by the teachers in school itself. Children were excited about this eclectic treat and it ushered the message of unity.

Students played games and enjoyed in their classrooms with their teachers. The day ended with Himachal’s beloved Nati dance that was performed by the teachers and students.
