The UKG music concert “Flight of Fantasy” was organized at Dayanand Public School, Shimla, where students showcased various performances. The participation of all students was ensured, and the young children enthusiastically took part in the event. The program began with the Principal lighting the ceremonial lamp. She presented the school’s annual report, highlighting the students’ achievements in academics and sports to the parents.

The event opened with a Saraswati Vandana, followed by a beautiful welcome dance. A stunning performance was given on a mix of songs based on ‘Unity in Diversity’. Students performed an English play titled ‘Happy Man’s Shirt’, focusing on the theme ‘Happiness is found within, not in things’.

A fusion dance, blending Spanish, Punjabi and English songs, delighted the audience, while a Hindi play emphasized the importance of ‘Always Speak the Truth’. There was also a dance parody on healthy eating, promoting the significance of a balanced diet. The program concluded with a lively Himachali Nati, followed by a grand finale. The beautiful performances by the students captivated the audience.

In the end, the Principal appreciated the students’ performances, encouraged them, and thanked the parents for their presence.
