Students of Auckland House School had a time of their life before departing for a short summer break during the annual carnival held here today. Chandni Luthra, an alumna of the school from the batch of 1965 was present as the Chief Guest who felt teleported to the years gone by during which she was a student in the school. She commended the school for the excellent arrangements and told the students that it is one of the best times of their lives and they should use it completely for it will never return.

AHS.28.5-(2)During the carnival, the school ground was enveloped with colourful tents that housed various stalls offering everything from mouth-watering eatables including tempting chat, noodles, bhel puri to name whereas even the brain and skill games were give a complete stress as fish the bottle, hit the target, balls in bucket and tombola like games were offered. Handicrafts, needlework and souvenirs were also available for the visitors.

The carnival turned out to be a grand success as the complete union play of students and teachers was visible. Students were seen having a great time especially the ones getting their face painted were seen in great enthusiasm.

AHS.28.5-(3)Most favourite stall of all turned out to be the music corner as students’ were seen dedicating their favourite songs to their family and friends.

The day concluded on a happy note as not only the students of the school but even the ex-Auckyites and students from various schools in Shimla had a great time.

It is an annual event on the School Calendar wherein the staff members and students work in unison to put up various stalls.
