Under the banner of Sahodaya School, Shimla, G20 an awareness campaign was organized by the management of St. Thomas School Shimla. Students of classes VI to XII witnessed the G20 awareness campaign activities. A special assembly was conducted by the students of classes IX to XII. The main motive of the activity was to create awareness among the students about G20, its purposes and also about the countries who are a part of this G20 Summit. In this awareness campaign, the students of the school were given complete information about G20 and were explained in detail about its unique logo and the connect of this logo with the values of our Indian culture. School Principal Vidhupriya Chakravarty while addressing the students said that we are very proud that our country has got the chance to preside over the G20 this year. During the G20 meetings, India will also get a golden opportunity to present its culture, civilisation, development activities and Indian philosophy on the Global Platform. She also said that G20 meetings would be held in Himachal Pradesh as well. Also, many activities related to G20 will be organised in the school this year so that along with the students, the parents and the society can also get information about this historical world event.
