Golf Team India Shines at Singha World Junior, Thailand

Young golfer Anika, Amrita, Aadil and Kartic displayed few excellent strokes to give the Indian Team a platform the the Singha World Junior Tournament. The girls — Anika Verma of B category finished 2nd runner up with a score of 81, 77, 80 and 75, a total of 313, while Amrita Anand finished at creditable 9th position with the score of 86, 71, 78 and 79 with total of 307. Team India girls section finished at 5th position in AB category.

Aadil made the country proud by finishing at 9th position at the World Junior at Hua Hin Thialand. He shot 77, 79, 75 and 75 with a total of 306. His team mate Kartic Sharma finished 6th with a score of 77, 73, 76 and 72 with total 298. Aidric Jose of Philippine won the overall Championship in the individual category and in the team event. India team boys finished at 4th Position, 5 shot more than Denmark which finished 3rd. Team Philippine won the overall championship in boys AB Category.
