Governor Flags off Basic Life Support Ambulance

Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, who is also the President of the State Red Cross Society, today flagged off the Basic Life Support Ambulance for Lahaul-Spiti district from Raj Bhavan. This ambulance has been provided to the State Red Cross through the Indian Red Cross Society. This vehicle will provide its services through District Red Cross in Tribal District Lahaul-Spiti. This year, the State Red Cross has provided ambulances for Kinnaur and Mandi and blood collection vans for Nalagarh in Solan district. Secretary to Governor Rajesh Sharma and General Secretary of State Red Cross and volunteers of Red Cross were also present on the occasion.
