Governor Highlights Roadmap for India’s 2047 Vision

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla addressed the valedictory session of the 108th Annual International Conference of the Indian Economic Association at IILM University, New Delhi, today. He emphasized that the conference is a key platform for policy discussion and contributes significantly to nation-building.

Referring to the theme “India’s Perspective: Viksit Bharat 2047,” he said that the vision of a developed India goes beyond economic growth. It encompasses inclusive development, social justice, environmental protection, technological self-reliance, and strong human values.

Highlighting India’s economic achievements, the Governor noted that the country is among the fastest-growing major economies, driven by digital public systems, innovation, startups, and infrastructure expansion. He stressed that Viksit Bharat 2047 aims to ensure dignity, equal opportunities, and balanced development for every citizen. He also urged economists to bridge the gap between ideas, government policies, and societal needs.
