Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar released the book ‘Himachali Jan-Jeevan’ by Sarla Kumari and another book ‘Jeevan Anant Khoj’ written by Girdhari Sharma at Raj Bhavan today. Sarla Kumari hailed from Chaupal in Shimla district and did freelance writing. In her book, she has presented the various situations of 12 districts of the State through different stories. Appreciating her efforts, the Governor said that she was a budding Hindi writer who was an inspiration to other women.

He said that the readers would find these stories revealing the life of the hill people. Girdhari Sharma also hails from Sunni Tehsil in Shimla district. In the book ‘Jeevan Anant Khoj’, the author has discussed many important topics of human life like spiritual power, self-realization, love and harmony etc. and suggested adopting human service with positivity. The Governor congratulated the author for his efforts and said that this book, equipped with high thoughts, was an inspiration for the improvement and betterment of human life.
