The Department of Empowerment of Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities and Specially Abled Persons has urged all social security pension beneficiaries who have not yet completed their Aadhaar-based e-KYC verification to do so within one month.
A departmental spokesperson said the Social Justice and Empowerment Department had launched the verification drive through District Welfare Officers and Tehsil Welfare Officers in July 2025. So far, Aadhaar-based e-KYC of 7,84,976 beneficiaries has been completed.
The spokesperson said pensioners who have not yet undergone e-KYC verification should visit their respective Tehsil Welfare Officer’s office within the stipulated period. Beneficiaries who fail to complete the verification after this final opportunity will no longer be considered eligible to receive social security pension benefits.
Pensioners whose Aadhaar cards have not been issued or require updating have been advised to contact their respective District Welfare Officer or Tehsil Welfare Officer for assistance.
For any information related to the e-KYC process, beneficiaries may approach their nearest District Welfare Officer or Tehsil Welfare Officer, the spokesperson added.
