Green Day Celebrations at St. Thomas School – Jaipur

StThomas.Jaipur.jul15insideGreen Day was celebrated by the Kindergarten and Primary section students of St. Thomas School, DCM, Jaipur as guests Smitha Johnson, wife of School Chairman Rev Fr TJ Johnson, Sunil Mathew, Treasurer and KC Joes, Committee Member, were welcomed by the School Headmistress Nivedita Doegar and the staff members. The Green Day celebrations started with a plantation drive by the guests followed by the tiny tots. The enthusiasm of the children was clearly visible in their discipline. Every child had brought a pot filled with soil for plantation as saplings were provided to them in the school.

jaipur.jul.insideThe classrooms were decorated on green theme with cut outs of green fruits, vegetables, animals and insects, all coloured by them in green colour only. The children had also brought green colour objects and green vegetables in their tiffin. The teachers and kids were also dressed in green. After the plantation the children were delighted to take their plants home.
