Auck.insideYoung minds are impressionable and when they are taught using art and crafts media, little children enjoy as well as grasp the concepts very easily. The Junior Wing, comprising of Forms Nursery to Form II, Auckland House Girls School, displayed few very interesting art and craft exhibits here today during their annual exhibition in the school premises. Rev Lily Samantaroy, Administrator, Diocese of Amritsar, presided over the function as the chief guest, who was led around the hall by Director-Principal Sunita John, Auckland Boys School Principal Micheal A John and Junior Wing Coordinator Vanita Wilson and the junior wing teachers. Rev Samantaroy had an engaging session with the children as she spent time listening to each student describing their exhibits. Director-Principal John said that the idea behind organizing such exhibitions is that children enjoy making art and craft items, at the same time they learn very important lessons when they are taught by visually means and creatively make the models themselves.
