Tiny tots of Sacred Heart Play School, Sanjauli exhibited great talent as they performed during their Annual Function held at Gaiety Theatre. During the event Suman Rawat Additional Director Sports was present as the Chief Guest. She appreciated the hard work put in by the students and teachers to make this day a grand success. She asked parents to encourage their children for taking part in Sports as education alone cannot make an individual. She stressed on the need for looking at various professions so that students can come forward and make a positive difference in the society for betterment of all.
The day began by welcoming of the chief guest and lighting of lamp. School Principal Sister Therisita read the annual report and informed parents about the achievements and various activities conducted by the school.
Little ones started the event by performing a Prayer Dance thereby showing their gratitude towards God for all the blessing that he had bestowed on us all. After that came the turn for yet another dance performance on the song ‘One More Problem’, that encouraged all to remain happy under all circumstances.
No cultural programme is complete without the presenting culture of Himachal state and here too little ones presented a foot tapping Nati dance. Power packed Punjabi dance on ‘Kala Chasma’ made audiences roar with energy and laughter. Other dance performances included on songs like Waka Waka; Nanha Mummah Rahi, Des Rangilo, Chamma Chamma and last but not the least Resham Ka Rumal.
The energy and enthusiasm of children was equally matched to that of parents. Positive energy filled the ambience and one could feel the happiness. The day concluded with the prize distribution where Armaan, Vedang, Kanishka, Anvay, Manasvi, Vivaan, Bhuvika, Aadil and many other students were awarded with certificate of merit for their outstanding performances in the school.
