Nothing is more fascinating and satisfying for a parent than seeing their little child who has just been out of the cradle performing on the stage. Such pleasure was experienced by the proud parents of SHEMROCK SmartKids, Shimla as they performed during their Annual Concert at Gaiety Theater Shimla, here today.

The day began by presenting flowers to the chief guest for the occasion, Seema Mehta, Principal Swarn Public School by little ones which was followed by lighting of lamp.

Based on the theme “Creation of God”, little ones started the show by praying to lord and thanking him for the beautiful life. Prayer was followed by a cultural program in which little ones danced to various tunes and other than that with full confidence recited various nursery rhymes and sang songs.

The tiny tots presented a very cute dance performance depicting Lord Krishan’s life on various songs like Maiya Yashoda and Woh Krishna Hai.

No show is complete without a Phari Nati and here too the little ones showcased the rich culture of Himachal and impressed their parents. Teachers of school also presented a melodious song “Yeh to Sach Hai Ke Bhagwan Hai”.

The show finally concluded with a fine dance “My heart goes Shala la la”. Students  were awarded for their annual performances and encouraged for performing even better.

Seema was extremely happy with the performance and while speaking on the occasion she said, “It was a wonderful show. I am glad to be part of it.” She even guided parents to develop a right kind of attitude as being a parent is the most difficult job. She further said that it is important that right kind of food and positive attitude is very important for children’s development.

Students including Advey, Arayana, Bhavik, Gorang, Mahi, Anvi, Vihan, Sabhay, Vaidhanshi and Samradhi to name a few participated in the show along with others and made it a memorable day for all. (MORE VIDEOS)
