CM Sukhu on Saturday inaugurated the State-Level Haroli Festival-2026 at Haroli in Una district, ushering in festivities inspired by the spirit of Baisakhi and the vibrant traditions of Himachal Pradesh.
The Chief Minister paid obeisance at the sacred flame of Chintpurni Temple, praying for the prosperity and well-being of the people. He later joined a traditional procession that showcased the region’s cultural richness and drew large public participation.
Speaking at the inaugural cultural evening, Sukhu greeted residents of Haroli and Una, highlighting that such festivals symbolize unity, shared heritage and strong cultural roots. He underscored the need to preserve local customs to maintain the state’s unique identity.
He also commended Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and the district administration for successfully organizing the festival.
Mukesh Agnihotri said the government remains focused on balanced development while safeguarding the state’s cultural traditions, adding that such events strengthen social harmony and community bonding.
The evening featured lively performances, with Punjabi artist Gippy Grewal energizing the crowd with his hit numbers. Abhigya Band also entertained the audience with a spirited performance.
