Shimla, the Queen of Hills, is set to redefine its identity from a hub of politics, tourism, and heritage to a center of entrepreneurship, innovation, and startups. The Department of Industries, Government of Himachal Pradesh, is organizing the HIM MSME Fest 2026 from 3rd to 5th January 2026, an event being hailed as a historic milestone for the State’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

More than just a trade exhibition, the Fest will serve as a transformative platform for thousands of entrepreneurs, including artisans, women-led businesses, and young startup founders, providing them opportunities to realize their business aspirations. Products manufactured in Himachal Pradesh will be showcased to national and international e-commerce platforms, industry leaders, investors, and technology experts, opening pathways for local goods to gain global recognition.

Key highlights of the Fest include exhibitions of handicrafts, handloom products, organic and agro-based goods, food processing units, pharmaceutical products, and innovation-driven startups. Expert-led sessions will provide entrepreneurs with practical insights on funding mechanisms, brand building, digital marketing, e-commerce strategies, and export opportunities.

Additional Chief Secretary (Industries) R.D. Nazeem stated that the Fest will be a milestone in connecting Himachal Pradesh’s MSME sector with national and international markets. For three days, Shimla is expected to resonate with the spirit of enterprise, innovation, and opportunity, significantly boosting economic activity and giving fresh momentum to the State’s development trajectory.
