Himachal’s Digital Leap in Focus at Deloitte Summit

CM Sukhu highlighted Himachal Pradesh’s pioneering digital initiatives while speaking at the “Aarohan – Growth with Impact – Government Summit” organized by Deloitte on Monday.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the Himachal Pradesh Government has extensively adopted digitalization to enhance the efficiency of public services and ensure transparency in governance. He stated that the state serves as a model of good governance, focusing on delivering the benefits of government schemes to deserving citizens.

Sukhu highlighted the use of latest technologies across sectors to modernize existing systems and improve operational efficiency. He cited the Him Parivar Project as a prime example, explaining that it creates an accurate database of citizens, helping identify eligible beneficiaries for various schemes. The Him Parivar Portal further provides citizens with seamless access to government documents, services, and schemes from their homes.

The Chief Minister also elaborated on other IT initiatives undertaken by the state government, showcasing Himachal Pradesh’s commitment to technology-driven governance and citizen-centric services.
