Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu attended the grand finale of the Himachal Dance Championship – Season 3, organized by Live Times TV, held at the historic Gaiety Theatre, Shimla today.
Praising the organizers, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of such events as vital platforms for young talent to shine. He urged the youth to remain vigilant against the dangers of drug abuse, reaffirming the government’s strong commitment to eradicating this menace. “We are taking strict and sincere steps to eliminate drug abuse and illegal trade at its root,” he said.
Highlighting the achievements of Himachal’s youth, CM Sukhu encouraged them to continue their efforts with dedication and determination. He expressed confidence that by 2032, Himachal Pradesh will stand as the most prosperous state in the country. Reflecting on recent progress, he noted that Himachal has emerged as a leader in multiple sectors nationwide over the past two years.
The Chief Minister also presented prizes to the participants and winners, celebrating their outstanding performances in the championship.
