The Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board is providing vital economic support to registered labor families across the state through dedicated welfare schemes. Financial assistance offered for education, healthcare, marriage, and maternity benefits is actively easing workers’ burdens, helping parents like Reshmi, Chandan Singh, Satish Chand, and Jagdish Sharma cover their children’s schooling and higher education costs. In the Sunni region alone, beneficiaries like Geeta Ram, Prem Prakash, and Pawan received substantial grants up to ₹1.25 Lakh. Across the Shimla Zone, welfare funds have reached hundreds of families, including ₹20.73 Lakh disbursed in Shimla Rural across 51 beneficiaries, ₹16.81 Lakh in Chopal across 26 beneficiaries, ₹6.16 Lakh in Kasumpti across 14 beneficiaries, ₹13.68 Lakh in Theog across 41 beneficiaries, and ₹3.95 Lakh in Shimla Urban across 10 beneficiaries.
