As a key highlight of Him MSME Fest–2026, the Industries Department of the Himachal Pradesh Government will organize a high-level “CEO Interaction: Strategic Leadership Dialogue for Investment and Industrial Development” on January 4, 2026, at Hotel Peterhoff, Shimla. The event aims to strengthen strategic engagement between industry leaders and the State Government to accelerate investment-led industrial growth.
Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan said the closed-door leadership dialogue would be held in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. The exclusive interaction will bring together eminent CEOs, Managing Directors, promoters and leading industrialists from India and abroad, representing priority and emerging sectors such as pharmaceuticals, green mobility, food processing, dairy, data centres and defence manufacturing.
Designed as a structured Business-to-Government (B2G) platform, the interaction will facilitate focused discussions on investment opportunities, policy incentives, regulatory reforms and the long-term industrial development roadmap of the State. The dialogue seeks to encourage open and solution-oriented engagement, enabling investors to share perspectives while gaining clarity on the State’s evolving industrial policies.
Additional Chief Secretary (Industries) R. D. Nazim said the initiative reflects the State Government’s commitment to collaborative governance, investor-centric policymaking and ease of doing business. He noted that the event would play a vital role in positioning Himachal Pradesh as a future-ready, sustainable and globally competitive investment destination. The State’s industrial ecosystem, infrastructure preparedness and sector-specific strengths will be showcased, while direct and meaningful interaction between industry leaders and the government will be ensured.
The dialogue will also explore opportunities for anchor investments, development of industrial clusters and value-chain integration, particularly in MSME-linked manufacturing sectors. Emphasis will be laid on fostering collaboration between large industries and local MSMEs to promote inclusive and sustainable industrial growth across the State.
Key features of the event include participation of nationally and internationally renowned industry leaders, policy and vision presentations by the Industries Department, sector-specific roundtable discussions, one-to-one meetings between industrialists and senior government officials, and a platform for signing Memoranda of Commitment (MoCs/MoUs) and announcing investment intentions.
Director of Industries Dr. Yunus said the CEO Interaction would help strengthen investor confidence in Himachal Pradesh, identify new investment proposals and expansion plans, and gather valuable feedback for further refinement of industrial and MSME policies. He added that the dialogue would contribute to developing a clear roadmap for sustainable, technology-driven and employment-oriented industrial development in the State.
The CEO Interaction will serve as a cornerstone event of Him MSME Fest–2026, reinforcing Himachal Pradesh’s strong commitment to investment facilitation, collaborative governance and MSME-led economic transformation.
