HPS Kaithu Celebrates Basakhi and Himachal Day

DSC_4005Student of Himalayan Public School, Kaithu celebrated the festival of Basakhi and Himachal Day in the school preemies. The celebrations began with welcoming of all by Kritika Sharma of Class X which was followed by Himachal Day speech by Shreya Dogra of Class IX.

Students from Classes VI and VII brought Himachali culture alive by performing a Himachali Nati that was appreciated by all. After the Nati performance Baisakhi celebrations began as Kritika Sood of Class VIII expressed her views on celebration of festival and highlighted its importance.

Group of students from Class X performed a Punjabi dance which was enjoyed by everyone.

DSC_4020Last but not the least Bhuwan and Ansh’s sitar and table jugalbandi made all fall in love with music all over again.

School Principal Bandana Goswami and staff members were present on the occasion and everyone lauded the efforts of the students for presenting such a refreshing program.
