The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the results for the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board examinations today at 11:00 AM IST. Students can access their digital marksheets through the official websites cisce.org and results.cisce.org using their Unique ID and Index Number.

Highlights of the 2025 Results

  • Girls Outperform Boys: Continuing the trend from previous years, girls have outshined boys in both ICSE and ISC examinations. In ICSE Class 10, girls achieved a pass percentage of 99.65%, while boys secured 99.31%. Similarly, in ISC Class 12, girls recorded a pass percentage of 98.92%, surpassing the boys’ percentage of 97.63%.
  • Overall Pass Rates: The overall pass percentage for ICSE Class 10 stands at 99.47%, and for ISC Class 12, it is 98.19%.

Accessing Results

Students are advised to check their results only on the official CISCE websites mentioned above. The council has cautioned against using third-party apps or unofficial websites to avoid potential data breaches or misinformation .

Rechecking and Improvement Exams

  • Rechecking Window: Students who wish to apply for rechecking can do so from April 30 to May 4. The rechecking process will address totalling errors and unmarked answers but will not involve a full re-evaluation of answer scripts.
  • Improvement Exams: CISCE is expected to release the schedule for the July 2025 improvement exams soon. These exams offer students an opportunity to enhance their scores, which can be crucial for college admissions and entrance examination.

Digital Marksheets via DigiLocker

In addition to the official websites, students can also access their digital marksheets and certificates through DigiLocker. These digital documents are legally valid for admissions and employment purposes and include the statement of marks, pass certificate, and migration certificate.

Key Guidelines to Remember:

  • Rechecking is not re-evaluation: It only involves verifying if all answers were marked and the total marks are calculated correctly. It does not involve re-evaluating the content of answers.
  • Re-evaluation is available only for ISC (Class XII) students. ICSE (Class X) students are not eligible for re-evaluation.
  • Improvement exams give students a second chance to reappear in selected subjects and aim for a higher score.
  • The application window for all three processes—rechecking, re-evaluation, and improvement—will be open for a short period after the result announcement. Students must act promptly.
  • Visit the official website www.cisce.org regularly for updates on deadlines, procedures, and official notifications.

Rechecking Fees for 2025:

  • ICSE (Class X): ₹1,000 per subject
  • ISC (Class XII): ₹1,000 per subject
