Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan today chaired the 246th meeting of the Himachal Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board (HPKVIB), during which key departmental and policy-related issues were discussed in detail. The meeting focused on measures aimed at further strengthening the khadi and village industries sector in the state.
Emphasising effective implementation of khadi and village industries programmes, the Industries Minister highlighted the need to prioritise employment generation and strengthening the rural economy.
On the occasion, Harshwardhan Chauhan also launched the official website of the Himachal Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board. He said the website would serve as an important platform to provide transparent and easily accessible information about the Department’s schemes, programmes, activities and achievements to the public.
The website www.hpkhadi.in will enable beneficiaries, entrepreneurs and citizens to conveniently access relevant departmental information, thereby enhancing outreach and efficiency.
