Auckland Boys Shine during Inter House Band & Choir Competition

An Inter House Band and Choir Competition was held at Auckland High School for Boys on as Reuben John, professional voice trainer and an accomplished musician, Asshur Wilson, pianist and history teacher and Ramesh Chandra Sharma, band teacher, both from Bishop Cottons School, Shimla, presided as the judge for the competition. Former Professor and Counsellor, Neelam Bali was the guest of honour for the event, who were all welcome by the school Principal Michael A John.

This competition held between four houses, namely Durrant, French, Lefroy, and Matthew gave their best performance with great zeal and enthusiasm. They were all appreciated for their excellent performance on stage by the judges, as Prithni Bisht of French House was the best singer.

In the Band Competition French House was placed at First Position, Durrant House at Second Position followed by Matthew House at Third. The Choir competition was won by French House, followed by Lefroy House and Durrant House.
