Inter House Choir – Band Competition Rocked AHGB

AuckyBoysBand.12.9 (5)Students of Auckland House School for Boys witnessed a musical afternoon as the Inter House School Choir and Band Competition was held today. During the competition Himashu Sood, owner of Wake and Bake Restaurant cum musician and Pawan Sharma, Principal St. Xavier School were present as the judges on the occasion. Both of them were excited and delighted with the concert of the students. They appreciated the efforts put in by teachers and students to present such entertaining performances.

Each house presented two songs out of which a common song Try a Little Kindness was presented. Matthew House in Choir category presented song Evergreen Tree by Cliff Richard; Durrant I have a Dream by West Life; French A Place in the Choir and last but not the least Lefroy Top of the World by Carpenter.

AuckyBoysBand.12.9 (20)In band competition Matthew House presented song Hall of Fames by The Script; Durrant More Than I Can Say by Leo Sayer; French When We Were on Fire by James Bay and Lefroy History by One Direction.

Principal Michael John was pleased with the performance of the students and appreciated the fact that their school is training students to appreciate music. He said that the best addiction for youth is music which doesn’t harm in any way but just enhances the spirit of an individual and makes world a better place.

As a finale, the School Band gave a breath taking performance to entertain all the music lovers present.
