Junior Sports Day Celebrated at Auckland House

Auckland House School for Girls, Junior Section, celebrated its Annual Sports Day on Friday, 20th June 2025, with vibrant energy and enthusiastic participation. The event was honored by the presence of Deepika Chauhan, Principal of St. Mary’s School, Chakkar, Shimla, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The celebration began with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, followed by a lively display of aerobics and gymnastics performed by the young students. The day was filled with a variety of exciting races and creative competitions, such as the Flag Race, Pinwheel Race, Pom-Pom Race, Caterpillar Race, Banana Balance, and a friendly Basketball Match. Students also showcased their skills in Skating, Musical Chair, and imaginative events like Pack Your Bag, Dressing Up, Lemon and Spoon Race, and Magic Touch.

Children from Nursery to Form III participated with great enthusiasm, demonstrating agility, coordination, and a strong sense of team spirit. Fun events like Fetch and Run and Carry the Baton added to the excitement and festive atmosphere.

In her address, Chauhan commended the school for fostering physical development and holistic growth through such engaging activities. She congratulated all the participants and encouraged them to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship in all their endeavors.

The Principal of Auckland House School for Girls expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest and praised the students for their spirited participation. The celebration concluded with a prize distribution ceremony and a vote of thanks.
