Kangra Transport Unions Meet CM Sukhu

A delegation of taxi and truck operators’ unions from Kangra district met Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at Kangra Airport today and submitted various demands related to their operations.

The Chief Minister patiently heard the issues raised by the representatives and assured them that their genuine concerns would be considered sympathetically.

During the meeting, the delegation requested that facilities for manual fitness testing of commercial vehicles be made available in Kangra district through the RTO and MVI on a temporary basis.

On the occasion, Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania stated that, considering the challenges faced in hilly states, the matter has also been taken up with the Central Government.
