On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, cadets from the 1HP Girls Battalion, NCC, Solan, participated in a special marathon held in Solan. This marathon was organized by 2 JAK RIF Solan, showcasing a unique blend of patriotism and bravery.
The marathon commenced with a flag hosting ceremony conducted by Major Yash Vivek. The cadets ran from Thodo Ground to the Army area, symbolizing their courage and determination. This run not only demonstrated their physical capabilities but also reflected their discipline and love for the country.
After the marathon, refreshments were provided to the cadets, helping them to rejuvenate. Following this, a floral tribute ceremony was held where the cadets paid homage to the martyrs. This ceremony was a way to honor the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s security.
Post the tribute, breakfast was organized for the cadets. Later, they were shown the movie ‘Sam Bahadur,’ based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. This film served as an inspiration for the cadets, motivating them to dedicate themselves to the service of the nation.
Through this event, the cadets of the 1HP Girls Battalion, NCC, Solan, exhibited not only their physical and mental resilience but also their deep respect and reverence for the martyrs.
