Governor Kavinder Gupta addressed the National Session of the Bhartiya Yuva Sansad today at Maharshi Vyas Auditorium, Nagpur, organized by the Bhartiya Yuva Sansad-Media Foundation and Central Sanskrit University. Nearly 600 young participants from across India discussed national development and cultural values.

The Governor stressed that a nation’s language is its soul and identity, urging youth to speak their mother tongue with pride. “Learning English is welcome, but not at the cost of your own language,” he said, noting that thinking in one’s mother tongue fosters creativity, confidence, and cultural roots.

Citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s use of Hindi on global platforms, including the UN, G20, and India AI Impact Summit 2026, he said it inspires cultural self-respect. The multilingual participation at the session reflected the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.

He encouraged youth to adopt the Panch Parivartan principles—Swabodh (self-awareness), Kutumb Prabodhan (family strengthening), Samajik Samarasta (social harmony), Paryavaran Sanrakshan (environmental conservation), and Nagrik Kartavya (citizen duties)—as a guide to responsible citizenship.

Focusing on a Viksit Bharat by 2047, the Governor said India’s centenary will be shaped by today’s youth, who must move from being beneficiaries to active nation-builders. He also praised initiatives like National Education Policy, Startup India, Skill India, and Digital India for empowering youth toward a prosperous, culturally confident, and globally engaged India.

He lauded the Bhartiya Yuva Sansad-Media Foundation and Central Sanskrit University for bridging India’s ancient knowledge with youth aspirations. Earlier, the Governor paid tributes to Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar, the first two RSS Sarsanghchalaks, at Smriti Bhoomi, Nagpur.
