Medha Protsahan Yojana 2023-24: Higher Education Department Calls For Applications

Applications have been invited under the Medha Protsahan Yojana by the Higher Education Department for the session 2023-24. The students can apply till 25th November, 2023 to avail the benefits of the scheme.

A spokesperson of the education department said here today that in order to prepare for competitive examinations, students up to class 12th should submit their applications to the Deputy Director of Higher Education of the concerned district by post or through e-mail. Undergraduates can send their application form to the Additional/Joint Director (College), Directorate of Education, through post or e-mail on medha.protsahan@gov.in.

The last date for submission of applications has been fixed as November 25, 2023 and after that no application will be accepted, stated the spokesperson adding that only one application form will be accepted from one e-mail id. Complete information related to the scheme is available on the website of the Director of Higher Education www.education.hp.gov.in.

It is also mandatory for the coaching institutes imparting training to deposit a bank guarantee of Rupees One lakh to the Higher Education Department. If any institute has not deposited the amount yet, then they will have to deposit it with immediate effect and only then, the coaching institute will be eligible for this purpose.
