Auckland House School for Boys (AHSB) brought energy, excitement, and inspiration to its Junior Section Sports Day held on October 18, 2025. The event was marked by vibrant student participation and the presence of Chief Guest Meenu Chauhan, Ward Councillor of Bharari.
The day kicked off with a dynamic P.T. Display by Forms I and II, followed by a series of engaging performances and competitions including Taekwondo, Gymnastics, Yoga, Scooty Rush Rally, Pom-Pom Powerpuff, and the Mini Mat Marathon. Each event showcased the students’ discipline, enthusiasm, and team spirit, keeping the audience enthralled throughout.
Principal Reuben T. John welcomed the Chief Guest and spoke about the transformative role of sports in shaping young minds, instilling values such as discipline, resilience, and teamwork. Chauhan commended the school’s emphasis on holistic education and encouraged students to strive for excellence in both academics and extracurricular pursuits.
True to this vision, AHSB also celebrates the power of strategic thinking through games like chess. At the 3rd National School Teams Chess Championship 2025, hosted by the Himachal Pradesh State Chess Association, AHSB students made their mark. Samarth Gupta earned a Gold Medal in the Under-18 category, and Team B (Under-18) secured the Second Board Prize at the state level and ranked 7th nationally.
The event concluded with a Prize Distribution Ceremony that honored the school’s young achievers, reinforcing AHSB’s commitment to nurturing both physical prowess and intellectual excellence.
