“Miracle Is You” — Resonates at St Bede’s College

St Bede's CollegeSt Bede's CollegeA new beginning for the students as they take their first steps into college life — a warm welcome awaits them from their peers. One such beautiful morning was thus spent at St Bede’s College, Shimla, as the seniors warmly greeted the newcomers during the Freshers’ Social titled “Miracle Is You”. College Principal Dr. (Sr.) Beena John was the chief guest. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Sister Susie and senior teachers.

St Bede's CollegeQuite a few surprises were packed during the event as the judges had a tough time awarding marks for the right candidate in which miss elegant, confident, beautiful smile, among others were selected. The judges were Dr. Anjali Dewan, Dr. Deepti Pajni and Dr. Sapna Sharma. There cultural programme on the occasion comprised vibrant folk dances, songs and a skit.

The winners of the competitive round were:

  • Miss Elegant: Anima Dwivedi
  • Miss Confident: Bhavya Pathania
  • Miss Beautiful Smile: Aditi Chauhan
  • Best Hair-do: Amisha Negi
  • Best Attire: Hitakshi Sharma
  • Miss Ethnic: Meenal Chauhan
  • Miss Personality: Savi Sood
  • Miss Gorgeous: Kunakshi Kanwar
  • Miss Ravishing: Dharna Sharma
  • Best Gait: Anaisha Rachel Paul

The winners were given sashes and gifts by the Principal and Sr. Susie. The vote of thanks was given by Saisha Verma. The programme was organized by Dr. Gitanjali Mahendra, Vijay Sanoria, Minnie Sharma, Shruti Gupta and Manu Mahajan and the event was sponsored by Head Quarters, Sanjauli.
